Great shot of the Zero! I met Japanese ace Saburo Sakai back in 1992 at the Champlin Fighter Museum in Mesa, AZ, and got his autograph, it was great!

Unfortunately this artwork remains rolled in the tube. The 36 x 35 enlargement I ordered had lost clarity and was too blurred to spend money on framing. It's a lovely piece - but stick with smaller sizes to retain clarity of original work.

This is a photo taken at the Olympia Air Port during their air show of a World War II Japenese A6M2 "Tora" Zero. It's engine is a 980hp, Mitsubishi NK1F Sake which sounded great.

About Larry Keahey

Larry Keahey

My love for photography began when I was very young; as the photo shows me reaching for dad's new Leica camera. My 1st camera a Kodak, was given to me by my father back before grade school. The camera even had film in it. The only thing I remember about this camera was that you viewed through the top. Dad was a professional photographer most of his life. So you might say that I have inherited my father's eye to see the beauty of this world. I want to dedicate this page to my best friend, who is also my wonderful wife, Phyllis. She's been my camera crew for over 43 years and counting. Please enjoy the pictures and your comments are very welcome. Comments are how all of us on FAA know if what we offer as art is enjoyed by others....
