Description
I was inspired to create Jean-Michel Basquiat after watching a documentary on the Haitian born artist. Jean-Michel Basquiat died tragically in 1988 at the age of 27. His art was often referenced as 'Crazy' art resulting in my representation of his image. Prior to his death, Jean-Michel had been befriended by Andy Warhol and the two collaborated on several works of art.
