Artist's Description
A Palestinian shopkeeper watches as a crowd of people pass by in an adjacent alleyway but none come to buy his baklava, sesame seed rolls or halva.
I always enjoy walking around the Old City of Jerusalem and getting lost in one of the four quarters. This picture was taken in an alleyway between the Christian and Moslem Quarters, right off the Via Dolorosa.
