Description
Two wide angle pictures were digitally stitched to produce this final view of Lee's Merchant Mill after a snowfall.
The mill is part of the Historic Jerusalem Mill Village in Kingsvill Maryland. The water is the Little Gunpowder Falls which is part of the Gun Powder Falls State Park.
Lee's Merchant Mill circa 1772 (Visitor's Center & Museum) The centerpiece of one of the oldest and most intact mill villages in Maryland. Built by Isiah Linton and operated by David Lee, the mill produced the prized "White Silk Flower" for sale locally and overseas. The Gristmill operated under new owners from 1886 to 1961.
