Pressing the shutter on a camera for over 40 years has enabled me to take photography past just being able to sell images that others have hired me to take to where I always truly wanted to be... my own photographer. As a young "artist/photographer" at the Kansas City Art Institute I wanted to take photos to be enjoyed by others as much as I enjoyed them. Reality set in when a living must be made. I no longer depend on making a living with a camera and I can now make images I hope can tell you a story, inspire you, or just give you the feeling of enjoyment.
