About Acrylic Prints

Mounting Option #1

Mounting Option #2
Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print. Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.
The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!
All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).
The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.
There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.
Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts. The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall. When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done. The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1". All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print. Click here for mounting details.
Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back. There are no metal mounting posts at the corners. Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done. Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50" Click here for mounting details.

I had a great experience ordering a print of my own painting. This is actually the first ever print I have made of any of my work. Someone wanted to buy my painting and I did not want to sell the original and I love the look of acrylic prints... so I wanted to get an acrylic print of my painting to offer to the customer. But I love the way you guys did the print... I think I like it more than the original painting now! So I will probably be ordering more prints of more of my paintings in the future!
Artist's Description
Realistic acrylic painting of the American musician and country icon Johnny Cash, painted by the Dutch fine artist Paul Meijering - the Original painting is 90 x 90 cm and SOLDJohn R. "Johnny" Cash (born J. R. Cash; February 26, 1932 - September 12, 2003) was an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, actor, and author, who was widely considered one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century and one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 90 million records worldwide. Although primarily remembered as a country music icon, his genre-spanning songs and sound embraced rock and roll, rockabilly, blues, folk, and gospel. This crossover appeal won Cash the rare honor of multiple inductions in the Country Music, Rock and Roll, and Gospel Music Halls of Fame.Cash was known for his deep, calm bass-baritone voice, the distinctive sound of his Tennessee Three backing band, a rebelliousness coupled with an increasingly somber and humble demeanor, free prison...
About Paul Meijering

For almost 33 years now, Paul Meijering has been active with the paint brushes. As a 17- year old inspired youngster he joined the Academy of Arts in Enschede (Holland) in order to receive a native training in drawing- and painting technique. At that time (1980) the tendency of the abstract was running riot, and to his dismay and disappointment Paul found that the trade of the ancient masters was merely 'old hat', the realistic art being disregarded and looked down upon. After two years of useless botchery, there was only one conclusion to draw: "get autodidact, be a self-taught person!" Paul then left the academy to work for a living, but at the back of his mind there always loomed the passion of his life: to paint. At his spare time...

Opps! I forgot to add "I.M.O.H.O." I'm pretty sure that Paul might be kind enough to correct me if I seriously got something really wrong, but if I'm gonna be "bold" with the kind of stuff I say, I do need to make sure I'm clear about thing being my own opinion. (And subject to correction, which will help me a lot as I'm trying to sharpen up my skills in viewing works in ways to better see and understand the "Whole Picture" within the picture.) -Morgan

Being pretty much a Johnny Cash fan, this one caught my attention. It's pure "Meijering." To understand this comment better, refer to my posting on Joni Mitchel. I refer to the deep "shadowing / highlighting" I concider "emblamatic" or "signature" of his work. The best illistration of this is the "too dark" for the obvious light levels, of the shadow under the chin and the cleft dimple in the chin. To me, Paul may have decided that highlighting the dimple was important. Being sort of a 2020 version of Dutch Master, > "Highlighting" is NOT bright, but intentionally over darkened to the point of deep black. (Rather than the dark grey appropriate to the light levels of the other shadowing etc.)< -Morgan

My parents took me to see 'The Man In Black' when I was roughly three years old (1971 or 72). I have a single memory of that show. I remember him sitting alone in the center of the stage... a single spotlight on him and his guitar... the rest of the place bathed in darkness. It is a very fond memory. This painting reminds me of that. Thank you for sharing it with us my friend.
Paul Meijering replied:
Ah, thank you so much, John, for sharing your memory!!... Glad you like!;-)
