This acrylic painting, "Jordan's Golden View" depicts autumn at the Jordan Winery in Stellenbosh, near Cape Town, South Africa. Unique by Nature's Design, the Jordan slopes face North, South, East, and West, with vineyards lying at differing altitudes. From the Jordan hillside there are spectacular panoramic views of Table Mountain, False Bay and Stellenbosch. The painting captures the light of the soon setting sun on the rust and gold of the autumn leaves of the rows of grape leaves in the foreground and on the orderly vineyard on the left side of the painting. The wind driven sky is reflected in the water reservoirs adding yet another focal point. The painting is gallery-wrapped and unframed, but can easily be dismantled and rolled in a heavy cardboard tube for safe and reasonable international shipment for $45.00.
