Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

Reproduction of a captivating oil-on-canvas portrait by Anglo-American painter Sir James Jebusa Shannon of two young children being read a bedtime story by their mother, or a nanny. Shannon's subjects are startlingly lifelike, almost photographic, but as Lewis Hind said of Shannon, he was also able to evoke 'the fleeting suggestion of a beautiful soul shining forth from the eyes'. And nowhere is that more apparent than in the bright blue gaze of the young girl with the auburn hair, who is staring right at the viewer quite unselfconciously, with the same blue tone echoed beautifully in the surrounding wallpaper and patterned velvet throw. A remarkable work.
