Description
My Mother's royal blue and gold china tea cup and saucer is one of the finest memories of my childhood. My Mom had two of them. Some time during her 10 year stay in England, she purchased them in London, England. She drank her tea from them everyday. It was as if the Queen of England herself was enjoying a cup of the fine brew. There were many cups and saucers that the children were allowed to use, but never the special royal blue and gold ones. Before my Mom passed away, she gave one to my sister and one to me. Each time I use it, I think of Mom and how much she enjoyed her cup of tea and if asked if she'd like more, she'd always say "Just a drop please."

Barbara, love the beauty of the cup and saucer, but the suspended droplet and the title make my day! It is with great pride and pleasure that I am FEATURING your artwork this week on our special edition of our TOP FEATURES on the Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery Homepage. Your work shows expertise and love in the presentation of this fine art piece. Thank you Randy for your wonderful comment! This photograph was a labour of love but a tricky one trying to capture that drop of tea. Thank you for your sincere appreciation of this work, not only for viewing but reading the description. Also thank you so much for the feature. My late Mother would have blushed but also would have been thrilled! :)
