Sharon, The abstract of the " real " world ! How beautiful and direct !

. . ★ . . thank you Michel . if you scroll down and have a look at my reply to Sandi you will see that I did in fact plan it and the resulting photograph is the conceptual idea . . no one in their right mind would lie down on this highway for this specific composition without considering all those things . . ★ . .

Very nice and original idea of including the reflector here. Wondering what the conceptional idea would be, since you just may have decided to shoot this when driving, and not planning it :)))

Wonderful colours, leading lines and vanishing point. Beautiful! v

. . ♥ . . 'ae . . here on the southeast leeward side of Maui beyond that point on the horizon and across the Pacific Ocean is the Big Island and when the atmospheric conditions are clear you can see it depending upon where you may be along the coast . . and when you are standing up at this point on the road which is the Piilani Highway you can see for miles in both directions from Kahikinui . . especially here gazing east toward Manawainui . it is very remote and at most times of the day there is little traffic on this side of the island . . . . so it is relatively easy to ensure there are no vehicles coming my way . yet even so my husband was nearby waiting for me and Jacob actually had no idea what I was doing . he just knew I was in my creative zone so he waits patiently for me to complete my project . delighted you enjoy it . thank you so much Sandi . . ♥ . . . .

Aloha, Sharon! I have driven down a million roads with yellow lines and reflectors and I NEVER dreamt of laying down on the road and taking a photo of them! Sharon, you are so creative! I really like the strength of the lines and yellow colour and the perspective...and how it leads the eye to the soft background land/seascape. Very cool! Hope you are careful when you do this sort of thing and have someone there to watch for oncoming traffic!!! :))))) voted

You thought outside the box Sharon and I do like it, good eye! v
