This painting is based on a photograph I took one day while on a cruise. We stopped in Key West Florida. I decided to spend the day walking the neighborhood streets photographing Key West doorways. This is one of my favorites.

I drew and painted images of horses, seacapes and landscapes. Nature intrigued me then, as it does now.
