Description
A triathlete is working hard to get up what is called Killer Hill. There was a drought but the trees present with a beautiful Autumn background scenery. There is a dog on the side of the road watching her. The picture is balanced with the rider just beginning the turn at the curve and the dog to her left. She has her head down which is why I can post and sell this photo. She is wearing a bike helmet. Time trials is what triathletes and cyclist do for several weeks to try to beat their own times. These are done in anticipation of beating their own time at upcoming triathlons. Someone went and chased the dog away. Killer Hill is about a 12 1/2 mile route. It begins on the highway and goes around curving roads into the country side. The roads are not only winding but the elevation/grade is uphill, more so at the end of the ride. This is the last curve and is about a mile downhill from where I was siting taking pictures. This is also the end of the ride.
