Love the painting and the rich colorful blues, reds, greens, & yellows! A nice addition to our cowboy/southwest decor vibe.

Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.
Artist's Description
Two decadent Edwardian ladies or Gibson girls, recline naked together. Steinlen's "Le Chat Noir" is the silent witness. He quietly observes as a huge backdrop behind the ladies. Symbolism abounds with pink roses, cherries and a lit cigarette. The observer is at liberty to make up their own mind about their relationship.

Here I am sitting here absolutely in awe of your talent Jo! Another glorious painting full of life, sensuality and substance. In my next life I want to paint as marvelously as you do. Your figures are alive and vibrant. The story always most interesting. The detail takes my breath away. It is such a pleasure to view such outstanding artwork. It is not often that I find myself inside of a painting, but your artwork always takes me there. F/L naturally!!
Jo King replied:
Thank you so much Carolyn. You are so encouraging and I really appreciate it. But please forget your next life, you already paint marvelously and with more freedom than I can dream of. Just L/F two more of your sensual works.
