I love the turtle and was able to hang it in our sonโs condo in Kauai. I was not thrilled with the quality of the frame but it was too complicated to have it redone. Carolโs work is fantastic.

The print and matte look nice, but I wasn't totally happy with the frame. The corners don't mate well, and there were scuff marks on it. It looks fine as long as one doesn't look too close!

Iโm not one to complain and I love the picture but there are a couple issues. Even though it was double boxed and bubble wrapped it arrived with a scratch on the top of the frame. Considering the packaging that tells me it was sent to me with the scratch already there. Kinda sad. Also the mat isnโt flat down on the sides of the image, it floats off of the print. Iโve framed tons of art personally and professionally and those are not difficult issues to keep from happening. I still love the art and itโs hanging on my wall. Just a little disappointing that it was sent to me with those issues.

About Guido Borelli
By Debra Argen-Nesta dargennesta@earthlink.net 203-358-9701 Artist Guido Borelli da Caluso was born in 1952, in Caluso, Italy at the foothills of the Italian Alps. Born into an artistic family, (his grandfather was a woodcarver and furniture maker, and his paternal uncle and aunt paint) young Guido first discovered painting somewhere between the ages of 4 to 6 years old. With the encouragement of his family, Guido's first art challenge came at age 13 in the form of a public award. Although he did not win this art award, he continued to make artistic strides, and had his first personal art exhibit at the young age of 17. He received his art training at Accademia Albertina, in Turin, which was founded in 1672, at the special request...
