About Sandi F Hutchins
Self-taught oil painter, illustrator, designer, seamstress, photographer, gardener... visibly my passion and interests are to create. Photography in itself, brought an overabundance of images living in our Evergreen State of Washington, which inspired a greeting card business: Images Northwest - Card Creations. In 2002, a volume of pressed flowers gave an epiphany to create images by scanning flowers instead of pressing or photographing them. Gathering from our woods and gardens, I design images on the glass plate of a flatbed scanner.
