Pesach is the time of our redemption. As it was, thus it is each and every year. As we are taught, that we are to see ourselves as going out of Mitzraim on Lail HaSeder each year. All who prepare themselves are redeemed each year. Each year we receive a great amout of special Divine assitance to lift ourselves out of all the places where we are trapped; we are set free, according to our preparation, on the Chag of Pesach.
The essential redemption and freedom of a person is the redemption of “daas”; his active understanding. Where a person thinks, this is the person. Thus the freedom of the understanding of a person, this is the freedom of the person himself. All of a person's slaveries, where his is tied and bound to foreign powers, where he is not connected well the the Source of Life, the Holy One, Blessed is He; all these slaveries are a function of the slavery of his understanding, of his limited grasp of the Divine in his life.
