The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

North Lake Lansing Park can be a very busy place so one has to be in the mood to say a hello—a lot. For that reason I tend to prefer Rose Lake as saying anything to anyone is a much rarer necessity. North Lake Lansing is a walk that takes one through wetlands to upland forests. I think because there are so many people I rarely ever see any deer no matter the time of day. However in the spring the tree frogs are deafening as one walks over the wooden bridges made to traverse the lowland ponds. The trails are wide and well worn, and are now so familiar as to be long acquainted friends.

My subjects are both natural and architectural. I am interested in textures and shapes and how light and shadow play on those objects often creating new ones. I use a Nikon D-800, and an iPhone 10s Max. I make every effort to compose in the camera and thus I crop infrequently. I use Lightroom, Photoshop & NIK to work with highlights & shadows which often brings out the elements in a photograph for which I have primary interest. I have no hesitation using any other tool if the results make the photograph work. My preference is to do nothing to a photograph presenting it as it was taken.
