I love the painting, and fabric! I’ve always had Border Collies, so they are perfect for me! The insert stuffing is a little lumpy. But i am very satisfied.
LAST LIGHT ON THE LUPINES by Lynn Bauer - Winter rains have brought a heavenly hillside of lupines to the Santa Monica Mountains in Camarillo, California. This lovely wildflower landscape gives me a view into what heaven must be like, and I'm so thankful for being able to find and share sights like this with others who may not be able to see them for themselves. It is especially wonderful to find these special places in areas around Los Angeles and Ventura County where most people wouldn't expect to find them! I came to this area once during mid-day, then back another time for sunset. This image was takes as the last light was touching the top of the hill and softly spilling over the gorgeous landscape in front of me!
I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset. One of my favorite past times has been to spend the spring season hunting down amazing wildflower blooms...including two years of "Superbloom" seasons in 2017 and 2019.
