Here is a photo of Lee Circle with Robert E. Lee standing tall. Just yesterday this statue was removed for a lot of reasons. Anyway, it is NOT there anymore. I had a photo and could not find the digital image, So this is a scanned image with a texture and is black and white. Supposedly Lee is facing North because "you never turn your back on your enemy," or so goes the saying here in New Orleans. I do have it in color in this gallery.

I am Kathleen K. Parker, a native of New Orleans. Over the years, I have worked as a contract venue photographer for AOL-Time Warner, a virtual tour/still photographer for VR National and for individual clients, and a magazine photographer for several publications. In addition, I have college degrees in Computer Graphic Design and English. Today I photograph weddings, especially destination weddings here, other events, landscapes, people, portraits, interesting subjects in general, and, of course, my beloved New Orleans.
