CONGRATULATIONS!! Featured on Female Artists - Creative Women!!! Great artwork, love how you have done this!!!

Karol Livote replied:

Thank you so very much, Madalena!

Karol, this was my selection for discussion today in the Creative Women Artists Group. Once, these shoes were just what this child could barely wait to receive. Had to have the ones with the red laces, the velcro straps, the cool writing on the sides. Now, they've been relegated to no more importance than a discarded cigarette. This photograph begs the question, "How much, in our own lives, falls into this category?" Nicely captured, Karol. voted

Karol Livote replied:

So very well seen

About Acrylic Prints

Mounting Option #1

Mounting Option #2

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print.   Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.

The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!

All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).

The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.

Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts.   The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall.   When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done.   The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1".   All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print.   Click here for mounting details.

Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back.   There are no metal mounting posts at the corners.   Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done.   Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50"   Click here for mounting details.

Stunning artwork. The colors are very vibrant. I get compliments on this piece all the time. I was worried it wouldn’t be as pretty post purchase verses viewing online but this exceeded my expectations!

Where is this? It has not even shipped yet!

Ad said it has a hanging wire, it doesn’t. Has a big chunk of wood glued to the back with a hanging bracket. Acrylic distorts the picture in my opinion.

This rating is for Fine Art America only. Not the artist. I received this print on acrylic. It shows to have a silver back ground, but it was green-ish in real life. That didn't work for me so I needed to send it back. It cost me $32 to have it shipped, but $96....yes, NINETY SIX dollars to have it sent back. Fine Arts could have had a pre-printed label from their corporate account (like Amazon does) for it to be shipped back and then that ($32) amount deducted from my refund. They did not. So, basically I paid $120 to get a product that did not match the print online. Therefore, I will NEVER shop at Fine Art America again AND will warn everyone I know to beware.

About Karol Livote

Inspired by the world around me, I am sent out to capture moments in time, that I hope can find another's soul, the way it has captured mine! Karol Livote My story is quite simple. I was about ten years old when my sister gave me my first camera. I took right to photography. In my high school days, I was hardly seen without a camera in my hand. I participated in Photography classes and had my own darkroom at my home. Over the years, I have kept up with my photography and I continue to promote my images thru publications and sales. What inspires me? I am usually asking myself that very same question. At times, I wish that I could stay with just one subject matter, but that is never the case. I am the type of person who...
