Thanks Nancy. This is one of my 'comment paintings' and a way to remember some great trips to Germany.

very expressive Betty, outstanding work..

Thanks for the vote/fav and for the comment that made me laugh out loud!

Lemon Eis is great! Eff the 0 size manequins! Nice, funny ainting! fav and v

It was kind of a self-portrait...a bit too pudgy and knowing it especially sitting on the window ledge looking at those size 0 mannequins....but loving that lemon eis! Thanks for your comment and the F/V.

Love this great image, so real in expression!! F/V

Always expanding LOL---the lawn is shrinking I will say that ...over 2000 varieties, my seedlings, all the other plants--roses, iris, all the great plants my HADS friends give me, the ones left in the driveway by unknown people, and visits with my mentor Julie which always results in plants I JUST HAVE TO HAVE..... more land may just be needed we are up to 46 themed gardens right now.....crazy

I love this one!!! OMG I work all day in the garden and then reward myself with ice cream sometimes more than one ahhhummmm....and wonder why I don't fit into the little red bathing suit LOL....

Betty Pieper replied:

German eis is the best, too! The way you work you won't have to worry much! I hear you are expanding your fledgling business...Running out of acres already? (Kidding.)

Love the image, but not the fabric. Does not absorb moisture well.

Very nice little towel, fits perfectly in our Japanese theme bathroom.

Extremely poor quality, complete rip off as picture disappeared after the first wash. The wash was a cool programme for delicates and the towel was washed on its own. I won't ever order from them again

Artist's Description

On a wonderful trip to Germany, I stopped to enjoy a lemon eis cone while partially perched on a store window ledge. Behind my ample frame, size 0-2 bodies show off the store's lovely wares. The lemon eis tells the story best. Juried into a national small works show.

About Betty Pieper

Betty Pieper

Betty Pieper received her first set of oils at the age of ten and has been painting ever since. Her work has been selected by prominent jurors for prestigious regional and national exhibitions and is owned by people throughout the country. Before the age of five, Betty had lived on Dean Street in Brooklyn, on Forsythe Street in Manhattan, on an estate in Westchester county, and with her grandparents in rural New York. She watched her father build their house nearby only to sell it and announce a move to California. In San Bernardino she lived in a trailer park and later in a rural farmhouse without running water, then in an historic mansion with an Indian cellar.
