Great.
The Coliseum (or Colosseum) was an arena in Rome for gladiator contests and public spectacles. The arena is oval in shape, 280 feel long by 165 fee wide. The ratio of length to width is 5:3, often called the golden ratio; artists considered this proportion to be idea. The arena seating held 50,000. From this vantage point, you are looking at the undergound passages beneath the playing surface. Animals and prisoners were held in these passages, and props and sets could be hauled up to the arena level on 80 different elevator shafts via ropes and pulleys. The gladiators were usually slaves, criminals or poor people who got their chance for freedom, wealth and fame in the ring.

Wherever I go I want to walk every street, hike every trail, ride the bus or metro, climb every tower, walk around and through every monument, and then do it all over again when the light changes. In every place, light, mood, color, and...
