Description
"Lets go for a ride" was the catchphrase around our home when I was younger. The simpler times, gas was cheap, the road calling to you for adventure. My mom and dad took my sister and I to destinations in the surrounding countryside. We would go to a orchard and gather fresh vegetables and fruit, maybe sometimes find an old abandoned home to explore or a local park. Watching the scenery roll by from the backseat of the car, I started honing my observation skills early.
This art is timeless and great for the automotive fan. This colored pencil work almost looks like an automotive painting. This is achieved with the use of solvents and waxed based pencils. The end result is a work of art for any room of the house. Contemporary, modern, rural or traditional homes would be a fine fit for a print of this American Classic Icon. It is only available in a small size, but that would make a fine piece of framed art for either a wall, shelf or mantle. With wide matting, this art would look great in a den or library. Perfect for small urban spaces and offices. This art would be wonderful in a automotive dealership or showroom.
Thanks
Dave.
