Average Rating (4.30 Stars):

Very nice bath towel. It is very large and thick. The picture is so pretty.

Very unique piece of art. Displayed in my living room and admired. Will highly recommend.

Daughter-in-law has the shower curtain, which she loves, and thought I'd get the hand towel to go with it. Didn't give it to her. The photo shows the entire towel, not what it looks like folded. When folded you only see some of the "splatters" on the bottom. If you turn it around the zebra's head is upside down. The way it's currently being produced, it isn't a suitable image for a hand towel.

I love the design but wanted to buy a towel that actually gets used - high polyester content makes that dubious. also: I was hoping to support American Artists as well as manufacturers - this sentiment got killed by giant "MADE IN CHINA" tag. Very sad.

Artist's Description

I like this still life with the bench under the bare tree and the the blue moon shining through a light fog. The turned off lights and shuttered windows on the building tell a story about hope that didn't realize, a small business that failed, perhaps. But the full moon will continue to return regularly, the tree will have leaves again and afford shade for those who rest on the bench on a hot summer day, and eventually those shutters will come off and the lights be turned on again. Life goes on.

About Jens Peermann

LINES, SHAPES AND COLORS An outstanding photograph pleases the eye and engages the brain. The arrangement of the lines, shapes and colors that make up the composition of an image is responsible for catching and pleasing the viewer’s eye. For me it is the primary property of a photograph, to the point where it can reduce the role of the subject to that of an accessory. This is similar to abstract paintings where the arrangement of the lines, shapes and colors itself becomes the subject. There also needs to be a story that rouses the viewer's brain to action and educates. Visual art, including photography, is the most fundamental form of education, which constitutes a responsibility for the artist to keep it simple and tell the...
