Description
The Louisville Kentucky skyline in selective color. Louisville Kentucky is best viewed from across the Ohio river. The downtown city skyline lights up nicely at night and from the Indiana side of the river the KFC Yum Center and Mercer building are prominently on display. The cityscape looks great in panoramic size as well as traditional 4x6.
Louisville is home to the Louisville slugger museum and factory. Anyone staying in Louisville can also easily visit Mammoth Cave national park or attend the Kentucky Derby held at Church Hill Downs! While in Louisville it is also possible to ride on an old time river boat with paddle wheel!
While there are no professional sports teams in KY, the state is home to the University of Kentucky wildcats. There is no doubt that even with Louisville as the home to the Louisville slugger, basketball is king in Kentucky where many NCAA championships have been won, and sweet sixteen appearances in march madness abound.
