Located in the Blackwater Falls State Park in West Virginia, Lindy Point is one of West Virginia's most popular scenic overlooks in summer, fall, winter and spring. Lindy Point sits at 3,047 feet overlooking the Blackwater Canyon. This image was captured in early October looking east.
I have had a camera for as long as I can recall, and have taken snapshots equally as long. It was not until March of 2013 that I became obsessed with landscape photography. I have never truly experienced a sunrise/sunset, or listened to the roar of a raging waterfall until my first outing in the Monongahela National Forrest (Canaan Valley) in West Virginia. Ever since then I have been captivated by the beauty of the outdoors and the power and artistry of Mother Nature. I hope you enjoy my images and just know there is an amazing trail of experiences behind each one. I reside in Woodbridge, VA and jump at every opportunity to travel with my camera and tripod.
