Our tote bags are made from soft, durable, poly-poplin fabric and include a 1" black strap for easy carrying on your shoulder.   All seams are double-stitched for added durability.   Each tote bag is machine-washable in cold water and is printed on both sides using the same image.

Artist's Description

Little Sable Point Lighthouse, a white brick tower 107 feet tall, stands on a point about 10 miles south of Pentwater, Michigan. The lighthouse was built in 1874, and the automated light shining from the tower is fixed and flashing white, the flashes being of 40,000 candlepower every six seconds. The late evening light and misty overcast weather adds to the dramatic look and feel of this image. The original image was captured on Kodak Tri-X black and white film which adds the characteristic film grain that enhances the image giving it a classic black and white feel. Jeff Burton is a Peoria, IL based Fine Art Photographer, who seeks to capture moments that instill a sense of calm and wonderment with the world around us. His monochrome photography style emphasizes the often-overlooked rich texture and tones of his subjects.

About Jeff Burton

Jeff developed a passion for photography after purchasing a Yashica FX-103 SLR in the early 1980’s. Armed with his SLR and Tri-X Pan B/W film, Jeff fostered an appreciation and obsession with monochrome images. Today, Jeff uses a digital camera to capture images electronically rather than on black and white film and is enthralled with the unlimited possibilities afforded by today’s digital darkroom, which provides the perfect marriage of his professional career and his passion. Jeff shares his love of photography with others teaching Lightroom classes and photography seminars.
