The bay window in our great room frosts heavily on the inside when the outside temperature gets down into the teens. On a January morning the ice crystals grew into particularly pretty formations looking like leaves, fronds and feathers. Once sunlight and the warmer room air hit the window the miniature icy formations melted away.
This image was taken just before the water droplets rolled down to ruin the fun. It reminds me of the fleeting nature of time, so let's be like a dog and "live in the moment."
