This painting makes me happy!! The colors are really fun and, like his other pieces I own, expertly painted. I want to live in this cottage and walk into the ocean. Ordered it on canvas - well executed. Thank you for the smiles!

Artist's Description
This amazing live oak stands at the gate of the Old Sheldon Church. The center part has rotted away but it has been saved by a 'scab' of bricks in its interior. It is still alive! Now standing in ruins, the church used to be known as Prince William Parish Church in Yemassee, South Carolina. It was built between 1745-1755 then burned by the British in 1779. After rebuilding the church in 1826, it was then burned by General Sherman's troops in 1865 and never to be repaired.
