Loch Etive, situated in the Argyll and Bute council area in Scotland, is a stunning fjord-like sea loch extending over 20 miles from the Connel Bridge to the depths of Glen Etive. Carved by glaciers during the last ice age, its dramatic landscape is characterized by steep sides, mountainous surroundings, and diverse wildlife, including seals, otters, and various bird species. The loch serves as an important location for fishing, particularly for Atlantic salmon and sea trout. Its breathtaking scenery attracts outdoor enthusiasts for activities like hiking, kayaking, and wildlife spotting, while also providing a serene setting for visitors to appreciate Scotland's natural beauty and rich history.
