This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

Artist's Description
This is a closeup of an old metal tomb door in St. Patrick's Cemetery New Orleans. I like the rusty lock, chain and door. Some history of St. Patrick's Cemetery:
The St. Patrick Cemeteries are Catholic cemeteries at the foot of Canal Street by City Park Ave where the Canal Street car ends. They are run by the New Orleans Archdiocese. The St. Patrick cemeteries were originally constructed by the Irish community to bury their dead. They all date from the time of the yellow fever outbreaks in the early 1840s. The Irish, who were not acclimated to this humid swamp that was New Orleans, were severely affected by this epidemic. St. Patrick Cemetery No. 2 was established in 1841. Most of the workers on the New Basin Canal were Irish, so these cemeteries were very active. There are many Irish names on the tombs such as Wallace, Killeen, and Duffy. These cemeteries are some of the oldest in the city. From nolacemeteries.com
