I am not happy with this towel at all. You can't see the face because it is bigger than what I viewed. I would like to send it back

This was a birthday gift for my aunt. The flower was one of her mother's favorite and hummingbirds were her sisters favorite. Every year we go to the beach in memory of her sister so this was just perfect! Thank you!

I have been collecting this particular artist for almost 40 years now. It is such an unexpected and simple pleasure to have available her memory dreamscape on a practical towel, companionable with my seaside visits.

Artist's Description

Why quilt art? Two reasons, mostly... For many years, I have harbored a desire to quilt... but I can't sew worth beans. Instead, I am creating a new artwork series of painted quilts. I have lost loved ones to this horrid disease, and have loved ones currently fighting the battle. When I think of quilts, I think not only of the vast number of steps involved in creating the finished piece, but as well of the love that went into joining each individual piece together to form a whole. I also think of warmth... which can come from love, as well. I realized that each stitch in a quilt can be symbolic of a step in the fight against cancer, and to help take those steps, I will be donating a percentage of my proceeds from each sale of these quilt paintings to one or more cancer-fighting charities. Thank...

About Sandy MacGowan

While studying 3D computer graphics and animation in Canada, Sandy met her husband, Brian MacGowan. As another computer graphics artist with extensive training in photography, he has provided her with much insight into the quirks and foibles of computer graphics. While on a career hiatus...
