The first picture I take with a new camera has always been of my wife, Pattie, or my cat, Anawim, God rest her. This was the first shot I took with my new Samsung NX500. My PA, retoucher, and general henchphotographer, Lois Esparza, would squeal with delight every time she saw it. Willing to do anything to make the squealing stop, I included a print of it in the next scheduled showing I had to satisfy her that the world would no longer remain ignorant of it.
