The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. I did this drawing in the hot Summer months of 2012, I must of been pining for the long cold Winter nights. An ambient season based synth piece by Wendy Carlos provided me with much inspiration for this drawing. Its a bleak image but sometimes there is a stark beauty in the cold of Winter.

Currently enjoying using charcoal and pastels, these mediums allow me to be more spontaneous with ideas, also loving how quickly it can be to achieve satisfying results without compromise; while at present my most favourite medium for painting is acrylics.
