The print on this tote looks amazing and I've received many compliments on it, out and about. The tote bag is sturdy quality and a great size (18 x 18), the look is unique and special.

The setting is in the foothills of the Blue Mountains near Walla Walla, WA (which is, yes, a real place) and although the calendar tells us that it is spring and time for warm weather, the temperature tells us otherwise. The clouds in the sky are being moved by a high wind, creating a painting of their own, one that changes moment by moment.
Often, when one thinks of big sky country, one’s thoughts hearken to Montana – no doubt because of excellent public relations on the part of the state to define itself as an area filled with wild, free, uninhabited country. But big skies are all through the earth, and one of these places is in the Walla Walla Valley in Washington State, USA.
And while one can stare at the clouds, seeking a recognizable shape (“Oh, look – there’s a cow! And that’s an airplane!”) sometimes there is much pleasure in just looking at the cloud...
I am a fine art painter who creates representational images celebrating light, life, and color. A commercial illustrator for more than 20 years, I have been painting for most of my life, and in the last 13 years have focused exclusively on fine art. I celebrate images that invite the viewer to step into the artwork and experience a sense of joy, peace, freedom, encouragement, meditation, and thought. There's a lot of angry art out there, as well as a lot of shallow pop. I choose to use the abilities and experience I have to promote beauty and goodness.
