While taking advantage of a gorgeous day on Long Island in the town of Long Beach I decided for my second stop to go to the town of Long Beach's beach and I was hoping that the waves would be coming in powerful and strong. As even though it was a mild 68 degrees out, there was a strong wind with strong gusts. I went onto the beach and it was perfect waves curling over each other with a strong under tow. Waves crashing down on top of each other and a strong wind gusts fighting the waves as they would rise up into the air. At some points the waves were easily 10 feet tall and crashing down hard on the surf only to have another one climb up the wave in front and do the same. I enjoyed this photo as you could really see the Atlantic Ocean's waves fighting against the strong wind gusts the higher the wave would get.
