I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.

This was a big hit as a gift. The recipients had taken a romantic picture in this locale And now they have a beautiful bag to take with them on their honeymoon.

Definitions
It must be that our dictionaries differ
in more than just the binding round the spine.
Perhaps mine is an earlier edition
while yours is of a novel new design.
They could be printed each in different language
for all the similarities there be.
In mine the definitions are more constant,
yours bend to fit what circumstance you see.
I will not ask to borrow yours if ever
my volume should appear hopelessly lost.
I'd rather write a new one from my memory
than stoop to borrow yours to cut the cost.
And yes, my pages, printed small, are lengthy,
admitting no convenience to the now.
But better on the shelf, ignored, unopened,
than cheaply made and incomplete somehow.

Hello and welcome to my portfolio on Pixels/Fine Art America. One of my major artistic goals, with appropriate images, is to create digital paintings that you wouldn't know were digital unless I told you. If I could paint in oils I would...alas my eyes don't work with my hand, so I create most of my art from photographs that I re-imagine. Few of my digital paintings resemble the original photographs very much when I am finished with my vision. Of course I also create work that is clearly digital as well. Here's a bit about me: RC...

Love the analogy you have used in your fine original piece in description, which goes very well with the painting, Gina! You are an artist in more ways than one. Fave and vote
RC DeWinter replied:
I often pair poetry with painting, Randy, glad you like both, thank you.
Cheri Randolph
Gina, I enjoyed discovering "Long Out of Print" on many levels. First, I love the texture, colors and comfort of well-worn nicely bound books. What wonderful companions they are! Then, I noticed your original poem that is posted with this image - wise words indeed! Voted and my selection in the Pay it Forward discussion of Wisconsin Flowers & Scenery Group. v
RC DeWinter replied:
I so appreciate you thoughtful feedback and encouragement, Cheri, many thanks.

Beautiful ~ This actually got me thinking about how much I love books ....with everything going computerized ...I hope that books will always fill shelves and never be relocated to a thing of the past....v/f ..
RC DeWinter replied:
I agree, Laura. I spend hours looking at a screen every day, painting, writing, etc. I want to hold a real book, not a Kindle, when I read. Thanks so much.
Rebecca Sherman
