Geert Weggen's photo is marvellous, a beautiful invitation to childhood and school playground. The squirrel wants to play with the doll on the swing. The luminosity is very lovely. I love my new artwork! Peter Chilelli`s Edmund Fitzgerald is very dramatic, it draws you into the picture. Living on Lake Michigan I have always been fascinated with the Fitzgerald. This picture is just what I was looking for to hang over my mantel.

The race is widely considered the greatest performance of the twentieth century by a North American racehorse & the time still holds up today as the fastest time ever for the 1 mile & 1/2. The race is available on YouTube & is just as thrilling as the first time I watched it !
