I had held off purchasing any Super Bowl LVIII collectibles or memorabilia until I found something that I thought was just “awesome”. When I saw this SI Cover, I knew I had to have it. Honestly it’s one of the best photos I’ve ever seen. Along with the captions it captures what Super Bowl LVIII was all about. Your Photog was in the right place at the right time and did a great job of capturing what Chiefs fans all across the country felt at that moment. As you can see I had the perfect place for it, it makes this wall complete and up to date.

About Irma BACKELANT GALLERIES
More Than Just Photography We are accustomed to viewing photography in terms of the relationship of light, composition and subject matter. When creating digital art,I changes the relevance of these elements either via the elaboration, distortion, elimination or combination of the existing shapes, colors, or subject matter in the original photo.I further add vibrancy or mutation of the existing colors through the addition of new colors, or tones, shades and hues. Thus changing the elements and therefore, the perception of the initial photo which I considers my blank palette or jumping off point if you will. A well known photographer and writer, Freeman Patterson, once wrote "We think with three kinds of images - the kind we observe...

3/7/2015 Ms. Backelant: I love "Looking Down." I am presently in the process of organizing each Ideart member's work into one block of six paintings. My options are: 1. One block of six paintings--two rows of three--with one theme, 2. Two rows of three paintings, each row having its own separate theme, 3. Six unrelated paintings. My current thinking about your work is sort of a cross between options 2 & 3. I love the three paintings that are already in one row even tho someone might say they are unrelated (The Christmas Lights, the Blue Woman's Face, & Reflection). Then the second row would be a little more consistent. Here's what I propose for your second row: 1. Looking Down, 2. Hot hot hot, & 3. H2O Energy. I think they work together, have some type of relationship. There are two similar, whitish paintings with a red one in the middle. All three have a similar feel to them in terms of texture. I think the viewer would sense some logic in that row. What do you think? Yours, Al Fresko.
