I was hoping to make sure that the photo being framed was the black and white dog and not the photo of the sunrise shown here. Thank you!

Really disappointed Great piece of art however the frame was damaged in transit Over 4 weeks since delivery and no meaningful response from Fine Art to resolve the problem Have other pieces to order in my basket but just skeptical that they will arrive in good condition and that customer service will actually do anything other than the occasional email to say they are looking into it

We love this print. Our own Scottie, Claire, lays like this all the time which is why we purchased the print.

Love our print. However disappointed for the price point that the glass is not glare free!

Beautiful picture and the framing was well done. We are very happy with our purchase.

Artist's Description

Looking to the west in the Main Hall of Union Station, this is the building's elaborate ceiling (I have another photograph of the ceiling looking east, the two views are different). Union Station is the main transportation hub of Washington, DC. It is the city's center for subway and all rail traffic, including Amtrak train service up the busy "eastern corridor" with stops in Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York City and Boston. The station, which was built in 1907 and is to the immediate north side of the United States Capitol, was its busiest during World War II when an average of 200,000 passengers a day traveled through this Main Hall and looked up at the ceiling we see today. It is still one of the busiest, and largest, train stations in America.

About Cora Wandel

I enjoy photography and writing, and sometimes think of myself as a photojournalist. If there is a story to be told with a photograph, I tell it. As a longtime resident of Washington, DC, a lot of my photographs are of this area, and I enjoy writing in the description something about the shot -- it could be a short statement about an equestrian statue in the middle of a park, or a more intimate tale of the mausoleum where Abraham Lincoln's son, Willie, was entombed for the remaining three years of Lincoln's presidency after the boy's death. These photographs are contained in the aptly named "Washington DC" Collection. In addition to "WDC" there are eight other Collections on this page, and two of my favorites are "Paintings" and...
