Each image gets closer to what I can do with paint, but the magic is expediency... Painting is such a slow process and it is unforgiving. Digital is so fast and the medium is so forgiving... only digital allows for so much pushing and pulling of the image. Digital maximizes the limited resource of time. The visual image is important... the product... the end result... not the medium... the medium only supports the image... it is the framework on which the magic is hung. The play of light, form, and color captured and arranged in such a way as to create the illusion of life, emotion... time. My only means of capturing time. Art captures and transcends time. (Silly rantings...)
