The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Painted from photos taken at Rochester's Lamberton Conservatory in Highland Park. I was mesmerized by the turtles as they had much more character than I had ever imagined. They were playful and charming. I ended up going back for a second visit.
About Terri Messinger
Having grown up in Idaho and now residing in Saratoga Springs, I love the outdoors and have always been inspired by nature. I work in acrylics from my own photographs and enjoy pushing space and seeing things take form by using color, texture and contrast. I am interested in capturing the world around me and find that some of my favorite paintings are very impulsive. Things that might catch my eye like beautiful or unusual lighting, deep spaces or nice angles. You might recognize a sunrise over a local farm, a red eft on the trail after a huge rain or a scene from a local thoroughfare. I am a member of the Beekman Street Artist Co-op and have discovered painting is truly a passion of mine.
