Table Rock Beach is a locally-known tucked away beach in South Laguna Beach, California. This is an excellent sandy beach in a deep cove with homes high above. Rocks of all shapes and sizes exist near the center of the cove. Skimboarders love the shape of these waves and might be playing in the surf beside the rocks. On the south end of Table Rock Beach is an exposed rocky point that people climb over to access another hidden sandy beach. Waves sometimes crash hard on the base of this point sending spray into the air. At this tiny cove is a rock arch that is worth checking out. At very low tides it is possible to go through the arch to Totuava Beach, but that beach is easier to access from Thousand Steps Beach. The entrance to Table Rock Beach is not on Coast Highway 1 so it is difficult to stumble upon. A long steep stairway heads down the bluff to the sand on the north end. To find the beach access entrance, turn west onto hard-to-see Table Rock Drive from the highway (the road to the east is Eagle Rock Way) and go one block to Bluff Drive where it will be on the left side.
