Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

ABOUT THE ARTIST Karen j Kobrin Cohen is an award-winning artist. She was a member of the League of Reston Artists and the Arts Council of Fairfax County. Her works are often shown in area exhibits. Her artwork was also on display at Gallery West in Old Town Alexandria. Many of her paintings have been purchased by private collectors. She works primarily in watercolor. Some of her paintings also incorporate pen and ink. Karen focuses on exotic themes involving tropical environments and natural settings. These settings may be of tropical plant life, exotic animals and birds, butterflies, and ocean coral reef life. She also paints "still-life" that usually involve unusual objects.
