Pictured is a window still life inside the machine shop of the East Broad Top Railroad in Rockhill, isouth-central Pennsylvania.
The East Broad Top Railroad ceased all operations in December of 2011 while it searched for new owners to take over the entire railroad. As of 2015, the railroad and its facilities have not been sold. Volunteers help perform exterior maintnenance and restoration work on the buildings and the premises in general. However, the interior of the buildings remain largely untouched since operations ceased. This is the appeal for photographers, who are able to create captivating images documenting the accumilation of dust, dirt, rust, cobwebs, and general decay over time.
