The material was sent in a bag and was extremely creased

I am the artist who ordered these items. I was disappointed with the fleece blankets. The image printed crooked on 4 of the 5 blankets and the 'plush fleece' is very different from the plush fleece blankets I ordered previously. No where near as 'plush'. These blankets were unsellable. Also, one of the tapestries showed up with a thread that was pressed right into the fabric which made it unsellable as well. The reason I didn't ship these items back was due to the fact that by the time I received the order, there was insufficient time to return the order in time to meet the '30 day' from the date ordered deadline. This is the first time I've been disappointed with an order featuring my art by way of FAA. Sadly, it makes me hesitant to order again.

Artist's Description

The Maclay Home, Tipton MO is one of the oldest structures still standing in the Mid-Missouri area. Built in 1858 as a young ladies seminary, it closed with the start of the Civil War. This three story, 17 room brick home was a permanent residence until about 1920. Thereafter, it was used as a summer home by the Maclay descendants and was the setting for family reunions and several weddings. Always, it was maintained with the original furnishings as a complete household. In 1979, the home was added to the National Register of Historic Places, and in 1983 it was given to the "Friends of the Maclay Home, Inc." by the Maclay family. This non-profit, tax-exempt organization now oversees the preservation and restoration of the Home. The home is open for public tours from 2 to 4 p.m. the second and fourth Sundays from May through October. Tours are also conducted during the various local festivities.

About Greg Kluempers

Biography: I bought my first 35mm camera in 1970. Shortly after that I enrolled at Florissant Valley Community College to study art. I found the photography classes to very enjoyable. We studied composition and used photography to creatively express ourselves. At that time we were only working in black and white. In 1972 I participated in my first show with 10 other students. I continued to study photography and to take photos throughout the 70ís, 80ís and 90ís. In 1999 I returned to Florissant Valley at night and in June, 2006 I received Associate in Fine Arts Degree Ė Photography while working full time. Finally this fall I am retiring and I plan on spending much more time creating photographs. Artistís Statement: ...
