My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

Artist's Description
Maggie And Milly And Molly And May
by e. e. cummings
maggie and millie and molly and may
went down to the beach (to play one day)
and maggie discovered a shell that sang
so sweetly she couldn't remember her troubles, and
millie befriended a stranded star
whose rays five languid fingers were;
and molly was chased by a horrible thing
which raced sideways while blowing bubbles: and
may came home with a smooth round stone
as small as a world and as large as alone.
For whatever we lose (like a you or a me)
it's always ourselves we find in the sea.
About Guy Ricketts
I graduated from Madonna University in 1988 with a BA in Commercial Art and one credit hour shy of a BA in Fine Art. I love taking pictures. It is an addiction. I have my camera with me EVERYWHERE, and I often see an irresistable shot practically EVERYWHERE. It's fun. It's exciting. Capturing an image that freezes a moment, holds an interesting visual and often puts an artistic spin on the everyday sights is just plain fun. And I love it. Having others see my pictures and enjoying them makes it all the more pleasant and enjoyable. That's how I went from buying my first digital camera a couple years ago to posting my photos on Fine Art America. I consider this a healthy addiction, and I doubt there is a cure. At least I wouldn't want to...

You're welcome, Guy! And thank you as well!

Maggie looks like a Cornish Rex breed. What a sweet face! I have a question for you, Guy. I was curious why you titled the photo "Maggie is stunned?" What prompted the title? Thanks, and enjoy this special breed!
Guy Ricketts replied:
Cornish Rex, eh? I never knew. Thank you, K. I gave this image the title because she just looks stunned, or surprised. But I have considered changing it to "Maggie Nonplussed". Thanks again, K. :)))

Gorgeous feline! Well loved I'm sure! Thank you for the lovely comment on my white cat. Cat lovers are a special breed of their own, that would be us. This looks like the special breed my vet raises, I don't know the name though, beautiful photo! voted
Guy Ricketts replied:
Thank you so much for your kind words, Judy! I'm not sure what breed she is either. I agree that we cat lovers are unique! :)
