This is my favorite! I have spent years sailing the Pacific coast and this captures the best of early morning on a beach. The smell of the fog, the salty scent of the ocean and seaweed and the cries of the seabirds are all evoked by the picture. Thanks so much!

The boys watch on, eager for a taste. It was an overcast day so there was no strong shadow and light patterns but the beautiful colors and patterns in their native dress, the camaraderie of the women and the eager anticipation of the boys made for an interesting painting.
