I purchased two shirts from this website that were the same size. This one was huge, the other one tiny. Neither fit well.

I absolutely am in love with this purchase. It has been worn a few times already and has held up great after each wash with no fading, loss of shape or pealing. This graphic works best I think against the grey I chose. Love that this artist represents the beautiful diversity of our Puerto Rican culture. This image resonates with me being that I am Puerto Rican of mostly African descent. Thank you Ida Yvette Robles for representing all of us Boricuas!

This item arrived stained and dingy. The t-shirt itself has a stain on it and the color is absolutely nothing like the photo. The product detail has my image on a white tank top; however, the tank top that arrived looks like it was washed with a bunch of brown clothes and has a dirty look to it, aside from the stain. I took a picture of a Gildan white t-shirt I own (thats been washed several times already) with the tank top I received to show how dingy the tank looks. I've opened a ticket regarding a refund or replacement on this item and still have yet to hear back from anyone. Yet again, not a good first impression for this company.

Artist's Description

It's surprising how many railroad terms remain in everyday speech. The title of this piece, "Making the Grade," is one example. In railway terms it means that the train can "haul" its load of freight or passengers up a "steep grade," "making smoke" all the way. Of course, to do this it needs to "stay on track", avoiding being "side tracked," or "switched" onto the wrong track. It's also good to "let off some steam" to avoid the boiler from blowing up, and to be ready for "the long haul." Well, that is enough. My reaction to steam trains is aesthetic: They are essentially ugly, but they do it so beautifully.

About Chuck Mountain

There is more than one way to be creative. Sometimes I think I may have tried them all. I was a professional musician (violinist and choir director) for many years in Los Angeles (my birthplace), 2 small towns in South Dakota, and in Denver. One of the highlights of my life was playing five seasons with the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra. During this tme in Denver I also published three books and three scholarly articles. However, over the last decade, I have been working very hard on poster art and type design. These two fields of creativity are where I work best. Word and image are not separate entities in my mind. Rather, they work together as Word-Image with the goal of producing unique, surprising and beautiful digital...
