This mako shark is part of my sportfish series in which the the fish is dripping down on the page. So the colors are raw and the acrylics have been watered down to look like a watercolor. While the ink brings the painting back together in a crisp form. The watercolor and the drip style was done because these are fish and come from the water. I wanted to give you the feeling that the fish is from the water and is wet, but still pay attention to the beautiful geometry of the fish. Fish Art by Island Artist DePaula.
